Plain Dutch (PD) Wire Mesh

Plain Dutch is woven in a plain weave pattern having few and thicker warp wires and many and thinner weft, beater closely together. The warp wires lie uncrimped inside the mesh below the surface with is only formed by the crimped weft wires. Used mainly for filtration, Plain Dutch weaves have a high particle retention, a high tensile strength and many small apertures per surface area. Apertures in this mesh vary from 300 micron to 50 micron.
